Suggested Usage: One or two drops in each eye as often as the symptoms
indicate. For example, with extreme allergy symptoms prescribe the drops
to be be used hourly in the beginning and usage decreased as the condition
improves until drops are no longer needed. Reapply drops at the very first sign
of symptoms returning. The patient should start using the drops prophylactically
two weeks prior to the allergy season.
NatO’s philosophy on treating allergy: Allergy is a chronic condition expressed as the body’s overactivity
in producing any or all of the different tear film components or in maintaining cell health on the
corneal surface. We note that suppressing symptoms with steroids, mast cell stabilizers and antihistamines
is contrary to the healing process, contain risk of adverse reactions/drug interactions, and should be utilized
as a last resort. NatO drops work in the opposite direction. They contain micro dilutions of ingredients
which are known to cause allergy if ingested in large (toxic) doses. The body reacts by desensitization.
Differential advantages: Homeopathic eye drops have the advantage of relieving the symptoms by
addressing the underlying cause, rather than masking symptoms. Side effects are unheard of.
Homeopathic mechanism of action: While the exact mechanism of action is not presently understood,
homeopathic medicines are thought to gently trigger the bodies natural healing response. Homeopathic
medicine is based on a system of treatment proven effective by over 200 years of clinical use.
